myPhoto for citizens

Manage the digital files of your photograph and your signature, as downloaded by a professional photographer.
The condition is that you have automatically received a code, in a text message (sms) or an email, following your visit to a professional photographer. The code number is also provided in the form of a QR Code.
If you wish to be used in electronic applications and services provided by public sector bodies, the above files may be used where the processing of your cases requires the production of a photograph or signature.

In particular, the digital file of the visual display of the handwritten signature of any natural person may be used exclusively during the process of issuing and renewing a driving licence.

You will need:

  • your personal Taxisnet credentials (after registering in National Communication Register (NEC) to confirm your mobile phone number)
  • your TIN
  • the code automatically received by text (sms) or email after your visit to a professional photographer;

  • Log in to the application and enter the code sent to you or scanning the QR code.
  • Preview download files and approve or reject them accordingly.
  • Once approved if you wish to relate them to your TIN.
  • Authorise via the application, subject to explicit consent, electronic applications and services provided by public sector bodies to extract the related photo and signature files. Your digital signature file may only be used during the process of issuing and renewing your driving licence.

Retention time of records
Digital files that were not related to your TIN are deleted from the system within 2 weeks of the date of sending the message with the code number.
The digital files associated with your TIN are kept in the system for a period of one year.

Management of records and authorisation from the application

At any time you can:

  • disconnect digital files from your TIN. However, the code number remains available and you can relink it to your TIN for one year from the date of the original correlation
  • revoke the authorisation you have given to an electronic application or service of a public sector body
  • see your credentials history
