Natural persons can apply to the “Recycling – change appliance” programme and be funded to replace old electrical appliances with new, more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient ones.

Conditions

• you must have submitted an income tax return (E1) in tax year 2020 that has been cleared
• you, 2st member and dependent children of your family were resident in Greece in 2020

Procedure

1. You are entitled to submit a single application for only one of your homes (main or holiday), in which you choose which three (3) old electrical appliances you will replace among the categories:
2. up to two (2) equipment of category 1 “Air conditioners”;
3. up to one (1) appliance of category 2 “Refrigerating”;
4. to one (1) appliance of category 3 “Freezers”
5. You are selected from the programme as a beneficiary. The grant is provided through vouchers of the programme, which you can use in the purchase of a new device and cover part of the total cost. In the event of a negative reply, you have the right to lodge a complaint.
6. Buy the device from specific suppliers participating in the programme.
7. Hand over your old device to a trader affiliated to the programme.
